GoVid for YouTube App Reviews

Not a bad application, but it really doesn’t offer much over browser functionality. Was hoping there would be an easy way to pause playback or search without fully opening the youtube window, but unfortunately there isn’t. If you’re looking for a way to keep a youtube shortcut in your menu bar this is nice, but not much else. Going to keep looking for something a bit sleeker.

I LOVE THIS APP. I had the app called App for Youtube and hated it because it had this extra window like thing on the video of the same video, and if you tried to make it full screen the little window of the same video was right in the middle of it and even moving it the dang window went right back to the middle no matter where I moved it to it’s hard to explain, but if you’ve been on it you know what I’m talking about and it was annoying so I went on the app store and downloaded the Go For YouTube and I’VE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. I’m not sure if everyone has had that issue with the App For YouTube but on my MacBook Pro I did and with the Go For YourTube I’ve not had any complaints or anything. Since I can’t get the original YouTube App This is the next best thing you will be happy with it I Promise. THANK-YOU FOR THIS APP IT’S AMAZING HOPEFULLY THEY CAN MAKE IT EVEN BETTER THEN IT ALREADY IT IS BUT I’M NOT SURE CAUSE IT REALLY IS THE NEXT BEXT YOUTUBE APP BESIDES THE ORIGINAL YOUTUBE APP I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND GO FOR YOUTUBE!!!!!!!

This app makes it very convenient to go to YouTube and watch all your favorite videos. Highly recommended!

It is browser base but just ok for me.

Love the app and the convenience of it and whatnot, but it’s really laggy a majority of the time.

It’s a great app. I enjoy Youtube even more.

I like this app quite a bit. I woud give it 4.5 stars but don’t have that choice. What I don’t like is that the exact address of a particular piece is not listed at the top the way it is on the internet, so if I want to give someone the exact place to find the piece, which is more convenient than writing out the piece and artist (if I can even remember it) I I cannot do so. Then end up going back to the internet to get it. Otherwise it is very convenient to have it with me.

I’m a FB user, sometimes I can’t see some videos,( I have no Idea why some freeze..) I have no problem with that so I dont deal with it, I just go to YouTube and, Yep! there it is,

This app has done a lot of overcome Youtube’s flaws. It gained the ability to go wide screen without being on Youtube directly and circumvented during play ads in the process. The only complaint I would have is that lately it seems Youtube has wormed its way back in with ads at the start of videos. I’ll still use this app over the site itself every time and they deserve 5 stars because they continually improve the app.

This app does what it’s designed for. Has a smooth UI that executes well. I would recommend this app.

This app is great for listening to youtube videos in the background while doing other things on your computer (I make playlists of songs, then I shuffle the list and listen to the audio while I do other things). The menubar icon lets you quickly access youtube, so there is no need to clutter up chrome with extra tabs, as I used to. My only concern right now is that advertisements at the beginnings of videos are not currently blocked (as of Aug 30, 2016), however this seems like it could be easily remedied with an update. Running videos in the background uses about 350MB of RAM on my system, which could slow down a computer without much memory. Overall this is a great app and I would recommend it to others.

It does what it needs to do! Allows YouTube to work more smoothly than watching it in the web-browser! :)

YT app meets all the requirements one can demand & the features are also awesome.I recommend to keep thisobvious software.
